How WWR Started

Writing With Rachael was officially founded in 2022, but the journey began several years earlier.

While in middle and high school, I completed all stages of MP's Classical Composition through Memoria Press Online Academy. Because of the knowledge and experience I gained through Classical Composition, my mother asked if I would be willing to teach my younger siblings the first few stages of the program. I agreed, and that summer I attended MP's official Teacher Training Conference for the first three levels of Classical Composition: Fable, Narrative, and Chreia & Maxim.

After that first year, the idea of offering classes to other homeschooling families who desired additional support and student accountability began to take shape. With increased confidence from attending the conference again and gaining experience on the teaching side of Classical Composition, I officially created Writing With Rachael and opened registration for Fable and Narrative classes.

That first year, I served two families. However, my love for helping homeschooling families and the joy of teaching encouraged me to continue. Each year since then has brought new opportunities for growth, and here we are today.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the families who have been with me from the beginning. You are the reason I teach these classes and love what I do. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and trust over the years.

Writing With Rachael continued to grow and became an official LLC during the 2023–2024 school year. The following year, 2024–2025, WWR expanded to offer the first three levels of Classical Composition: Fable, Narrative, and Chreia & Maxim.

I am excited to share that Writing With Rachael is continuing to develop. Beginning this coming school year, WWR will offer video recordings of classes for participating families, providing even greater flexibility and support for students.
